This guitar has been made in a very limited run of 12 and it’s all about the wood. We wanted to make a players guitar with all the money going on the wood and adding the cutaway to get maximum use out of the fretboard. Most of the time when we play guitar it is entertainment for ourselves so we want everything about the guitar to be focused on the sound of the wood and this is the perfect guitar for that. There are no electrics getting in the way and no gloss weighing the guitar down and dampening the vibrations. The guitar has a solid spruce soundboard which is the best wood for the soundboard. The soundboard is finished in matt and has a lovely tight grain giving real punch to the sound of the guitar. The tight grain on the spruce soundboard transfers the string vibrations into the beautiful sound it produces and this guitar sounds like something much more expensive. It is the best value guitar at this price point. The back and sides are mahogany, again finished in matt so you can feel the grain of the wood and soak up the vibration of the guitar. The body is bound with solid mahogany. The neck is solid mahogany with a re-enforced rosewood stripe. The fretboard is made of rosewood with pearl inlays and polished nickel frets. The headstock has a rosewood cap on the front and smoked chrome machine heads at the back to keep the guitar in perfect tune. This guitar is big on sound and appointed with beautiful wood, the perfect players guitar. Top quality strings and setup directly prior to despatch here in Hinckley England by Stretton Payne. Comes in a padded guitar bag with rucksack back straps, carry handle and pockets. When you buy this guitar you have access to our full support with the 1 year Stretton Payne warranty and you can contact Stretton Payne any time for advice or just to chat guitar.
